The private markets are a multi-trillion-dollar powerhouse that funds everything from tech startups to major infrastructure projects, yet much of it still operates on fragmented, inefficient legacy systems. At Anduin, we're changing that. The Anduin platform is built for the complete investor experience. We're not just improving a process; we're creating a better way for the entire industry to operate.

The Anduin Platform has supported over $205 billion in capital raised, helping more than 1,180 funds and 64,000 investors transact in a more efficient and investor-friendly way. This remarkable traction is a testament to the powerful, tangible value we deliver to our clients every day, solidifying our position as a leader in the financial technology space.

We're a global team of over 140 talented individuals with deep private market expertise across North America, Europe, and Asia. Since our founding in 2014, we've remained focused on our mission to revolutionize investing in alts and empower LP-GP relationships. Anduin's CEO and CTO are both Palantir alumni who experienced the forward deployed model in its earliest form, long before this position became an industrial standard as it is today. That DNA is embedded in how we approach every client engagement. If you're ready to join a team that is transforming an entire industry and making a real impact, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for one exceptional Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will build and architect solutions that connect clients' systems with Anduin's platform, ensure seamless data flows, and implement subscription form digitization logic at the heart of our product. At its core, this is a technical solutioning role: you lead with problem understanding, integration design, and client advisory work, and you own the solution all the way through to a working outcome in the client's hands. Strong engineering skills and a solid product sense are what make all of that possible. This is a fully remote position; candidates based in the East Coast or Midwest are a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Client-facing:

  • Working directly with high-profile clients: investment firms, law firms, hedge funds, and others to scope and deliver reliable integrations while managing expectations proactively and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Leading exploratory meetings with clients: asking the right questions and extracting deep context before arriving at a solution proposal.

  • Exploring clients' internal systems: CRMs, data models, workflows to identify friction points and advise on data structure improvements that make integrations more robust.

  • Building tailored client solutions, identifying repeatable patterns, and driving their generalization into platform capabilities that benefit all future clients.

Internal:

  • Implementing subscription form digitization logic, working closely with Digitization Consultants, Specialists, and QA Engineers.

  • Collaborating with teams across our US and Vietnam offices,  aligning on priorities, bringing field intelligence back to product and engineering, and advocating for platform improvements.

  • Building internal tools (AI-powered) to multiply team productivity.

  • Engaging with clients and US-based teams during regular business hours, and available for evening collaboration with offshore teams in Vietnam when needed.

Job Qualifications:

Must have:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of owning and shipping production systems independently.

  • Ability to simplify complexity and make fast, sound decisions under pressure.

  • Hands-on experience across multiple integration domains: database management systems, SFTP, SMTP, enterprise SSO, etc.

  • Proven client-facing experience: leading solution discussions, translating technical concepts, and troubleshooting issues professionally.

  • Excellent communication skills: able to speak clearly with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders across time zones.

  • Strong product sense: able to evaluate trade-offs and identify client problems worth generalizing into platform capabilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI/LLM tools: prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or internal automation.

  • Background in fintech, private markets, or enterprise SaaS.

  • Experience with document digitization, OCR, or subscription form processing workflows.

  • Prior client-facing technical role — FDE, solutions engineering, implementation, or consulting.

  • Experience working with engineering and product teams based in Vietnam or similar offshore environments.
